interest和interesting的区别

　　1、意思不同。

　　(1)interest作动词，意为“使感兴趣;使关注”。interest作名词，有以下四种含义。

　　(2)意为“兴趣”，固定搭配：interest in sb/sth 对...感兴趣

　　sth. be of great interest ....很有趣

　　have no interest in… 对….不感兴趣

　　lose interest in… 对…失去兴趣

　　(3)意为“利益;利息”。固定搭配：do sth back with interest 加倍回报。

　　例句：Law, in its true notion, is not so much the limitation as the direction of a free an intelligent man to his proper interest.法律真正的意义，是要把一个自由而有理性的人，导向正当的利益上去，而不是对此加以限制的。

　　(4)意为“关注”。

　　例句：An event is a way for a class to provide notifications when something of interest happens. 事件是当某些被关注的事情发生时类提供通知的一种途径。

　　(5)interesting作形容词，意为“有趣的;有吸引力的”。

　　例句：More interesting is the idea that clean energy might be a source of growth rather than a constraint on it. 这一观念更有吸引力的是清洁能源或许是经济增长方式的来源而不是其制约因素。

　　2、作用不同。

　　(1) interest既可用作可数名词,也可用作不可数名词。

　　例句：He has two great interests. One is sports and the other is music. 他有两大爱好:一个是体育,另一个是音乐。

　　(2)interesting指人或物时，表示具有能唤起某人心理或情感方面兴趣的能力，而不表示兴趣的程度或原因;指书、戏剧、影视等时，则表示具有较强的娱乐性，而且能使人消愁解闷。

　　(3)interesting既可以作表语，也可以作定语。 能修饰人，也能修饰物。

　　例如：The story is very interesting. 这个故事很有趣。This is an interesting movie. 这是一部有趣的电影。
